Bicycle Club Ride December 12th Time to loosen up those legs and toughen the seat! Let’s go bicycle riding! First ride of the Fall/Winter season will be on Tuesday the 12th right after coffee and announcements. We will travel to the Babcock Webb Wildlife Management Area. The ride is on a level paved road for a distance of 5 miles one way for a total ride of 10 miles. This ride is open to all campers at Riverside and for pedal or electric bicycles. Have your bicycles loaded and be ready to leave the front office parking lot about 9:45 once announcements and 50/50 are done. Directions and maps will be available for those that need them at this time. You will take a left out of the park and head for I-75 south. Travel to exit 158 and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Total distance is about 18 miles. There will be a pay kiosk to enter the area. The fee is $3 per person or $6 per vehicle. Exact change is required as this is a self service pay station with drop envelopes. Upon entering take the first right and travel about 500 feet to a large gravel parking area. There are restrooms available. This ride is close enough and short enough to allow us all to be back at Riverside for the Pool Party at 1pm.
